Global Protests Condemn the Genocide and Starvation of Gaza and
Demand an End to the Zionist Occupation’s Siege
Arab and
Western cities witnessed massive demonstrations condemning the extermination
war carried out by the Zionist occupation against the Palestinian people in the
Gaza Strip, and the systematic policy of siege and starvation. Protesters
demanded the entry of humanitarian aid and the cessation of ongoing crimes.
In
Tangier, northern Morocco, thousands of demonstrators gathered on Saturday
evening, raising slogans of solidarity with Palestine, including: "The
people want the liberation of Palestine" and "Gaza under siege,"
affirming their rejection of displacement and starvation, and denouncing the
international community’s failure to stop the genocide.
In
Agadir, southern Morocco, a protest was organized under the slogan "Gaza…
Starvation races against bullets," called by the Moroccan Initiative for
Support and Aid. Participants chanted slogans condemning the siege and
destruction.
In
Tunisia, hundreds of activists from the "Flotilla of Resilience" and
"Supporters of Palestine" participated in a demonstration in front of
the Municipal Theater, rejecting the genocide, siege, and starvation.
In
Istanbul, Turkey, a march entitled "Be Hope for Gaza" was held at the
invitation of the "Platform to Support Palestine," which includes 15
civil organizations. The march featured chants against the Zionist occupation
such as "Killer Israel, get out of Palestine."

occupation, affirming their intention to continue protests until justice is

banging empty pots as a symbol of Gaza’s famine, demanding a boycott of the
occupation and criticizing the Swiss government for cooperating with it.
Berlin
and Oslo also witnessed protests demanding an end to the war and delivery of
aid, while Chile held a demonstration titled "Empty Pots," condemning
the policy of starvation.
In
London, police arrested 365 people during a demonstration supporting the
"Palestine Action" movement, which the British government has banned.
The group is known for its activities disrupting the production of weapons
destined for the Zionist occupation, such as attacks on Israeli "Elbit
Systems" factories in Bristol.
Since
October 7, 2023, the Zionist occupation, with American support, has been
carrying out a genocide in Gaza, including killing, starving, destroying, and
forcibly displacing people, disregarding international resolutions.
These
crimes have resulted in the martyrdom of 61,369 Palestinians and injury to over
152 others, most of whom are children and women, in addition to more than 9,000
missing persons, hundreds of thousands displaced, and famine that has claimed
many lives.
