Massive Human Chain in Casablanca in Solidarity with Palestine and Condemnation of Zionist Crimes in Gaza

On Sunday evening, the city of Casablanca in western Morocco witnessed a mass solidarity event with the Palestinian people. The event was organized by the Moroccan Commission for the Support of Ummah Causes through the formation of a human chain that stretched along the road leading to the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in the country.

Dozens of citizens participated in the event, raising Palestinian flags and images of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and chanting slogans in support of the Palestinian resistance and in condemnation of the international silence and the continued Western support for the Zionist entity, particularly the American support.

Participants expressed their rejection of the forced displacement attempts targeting the Palestinian people, and they denounced the ongoing crimes of the Zionist occupation in the Gaza Strip and throughout the Palestinian territories. They called for genuine international action to stop the aggression.

This event comes as the Zionist enemy continues, since October 7, 2023, to commit horrific acts of genocide in Gaza, including mass killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, amid total disregard for international appeals and the orders of the International Court of Justice to halt the aggression.

This ongoing assault has resulted in more than 193,000 martyrs and injured individuals—most of whom are children and women—as well as over 10,000 missing persons and hundreds of thousands of displaced people who were forced to flee their homes under bombardment and destruction.
