The Second International Imams Forum Concludes with Global Success, Featuring 75 Scholars from 23 Countries

 

The Second International Imams Forum successfully concluded its sessions, held from August 22 to 28, 2025, in Bursa, Türkiye. The event was organized by the Committee of Imams and Preachers, one of the committees of the International Union of Muslim Scholars.

The forum brought together seventy-five scholars and preachers from 23 countries across various continents, in an atmosphere marked by scholarly depth, spiritual enrichment, and brotherly fellowship.

A distinguished group of scholars enriched the forum with insightful and diverse lectures addressing key contemporary intellectual and da‘wah (Islamic outreach) issues.

 -Prof. Fadl Murad: “The Framework of Jurisprudential Reasoning”

 -Dr. Khaled Hanafi: “The Objectives of Sharia and Their Impact on Clarity and Communication”

 -Dr. Anwar Othman: “The Prophetic Method in Da‘wah and Islamic Outreach”

 -Dr. Mohamed Ismail: “The Imam’s Spiritual Development and Its Impact on Da‘wah”.

 -Dr. Mustafa Dadaş: “Jurisprudence and Its Role in Civilizational Advancement”.

 -Dr. Wanees Al-Mabrouk: “The Nature of Things and Their Relevance to Da‘wah Work”.

 -Sheikh Taha Suleiman Amer: “Muslims in Europe: Contributions and Challenges”.

 -Prof. Abu Jarra Soltani: “My Experience with Qur’anic Exegesis”.

 -Dr. Abdelhaq Mihyi: “Essential Qualities of the Da‘iyah (Preacher)”.

 -Dr. Khalis Aydemir: “The Imam’s Relationship with the Qur’an”.

 -Dr. Abdulsalam Al-Majidi: “The Qur’an Encapsulation Project”.

The forum also featured specialized workshops, including:

 *“The Imam and Artificial Intelligence”.

 *“Challenges Facing Muslim Youth in the West”.

 *“Foundations of Da‘wah Discourse”.

To enrich participants’ cultural and historical experience, the program included a tour of Bursa, the first capital of the Ottoman Caliphate, offering insights into its rich heritage.

The forum further contributed to strengthening cooperation, networking, and knowledge-sharing among participating associations, their activities, and programs.
