President of the Union Holds Urgent Meeting with Deputies, Secretary-General, and Assistants to Implement Outcomes of “Al-Aqsa Calls for Help” Conference

In a move reflecting serious follow-up and a commitment to translating the conference recommendations into practical action, the President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, His Eminence Prof. Dr. Ali Mohieddin Al-Qaradaghi, held an urgent meeting today, Monday, April 6, via Zoom, with his deputies, the Secretary-General and his assistants, the Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, and several members of the Board of Trustees.

The meeting comes within the framework of implementing the outcomes of the International Scholarly Conference organized yesterday, Sunday, by the Al-Quds and Palestine Committee of the Union, under the title “Al-Aqsa Calls for Help,” dedicated to supporting Al-Aqsa Mosque and breaking the siege imposed upon it.

The meeting aims to follow up on the conference recommendations and develop practical mechanisms to ensure their implementation on the ground, thereby enhancing the presence of the Palestinian cause in various forums and translating the Union’s institutional interest into effective and sustainable efforts.

The conference witnessed wide participation and active engagement from scholars of the Ummah, alongside media professionals, human rights activists, influencers, and students of knowledge from around the world. It highlighted the escalating challenges facing Al-Aqsa Mosque and renewed the call for decisive action by the Islamic world and the international community to support and protect it.
