IUMS: The Blood
of Gaza Is on the Nation’s Shoulders – Saving Lives Is a Religious Duty… Act
Now to Stop the Genocide, Siege, and Starvation
* Yes, the blood of Gaza’s children, women, and elderly weighs
on the conscience of our Ummah.
* Jihad, in all its forms, to save them is an obligation upon
our nations.
* Stop the starvation in Gaza… Stop the genocide now!
I call upon the governments of
the Muslim Ummah, and every capable individual among its people, to engage in
comprehensive jihad—with wealth, life, voice, and stance—to save what remains
of innocent lives under the brutal siege and systematic genocide in Gaza.
What is happening in Gaza
today is not merely war; it is a full-fledged crime: a suffocating blockade,
deliberate starvation, and mass killing of civilians. Gaza has become a prison
without food, medicine, or clean water.
Whoever refrains from
supporting these oppressed people—while having the ability—has betrayed the
bond of brotherhood and the tenets of faith, and falls under the warning of
Allah Almighty:
﴿إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَوَفَّاهُمُ
الْمَلَائِكَةُ ظَالِمِي أَنفُسِهِمْ...﴾ [النساء: 97]
and His saying:
﴿وَقِفُوهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُم
مَّسْئُولُونَ﴾ [الصافات: 24]
This is a defining
moment—between disgrace and honor, between abandonment and duty. A nation that
does not rise for Gaza today loses its dignity before it loses its status.
O Ummah of Islam… come to
Gaza’s aid now with all that you possess. Blood does not wait, starvation
offers no delay, and lost lives can never be replaced.
