"Arabic Lives On"... Istanbul Hosts the Largest Arabic Book Fair with 300 Participants from 20 Countries

 

The city of Istanbul is preparing to host one of the largest cultural events dedicated to Arabic speakers in Turkey, with the launch of the 10th edition of the "Istanbul International Arabic Book Fair" under the theme "Arabic Lives On", taking place from August 9 to 17, 2025, at the Eurasia Hall – Yenikapı Exhibition Center.

Approximately 300 publishing houses and cultural and educational institutions representing more than 20 countries will participate in the fair, alongside a large number of universities, international schools, and civil society organizations.

This year’s edition features a rich cultural program that includes literary meetings, knowledge-based events, and specialized sections, such as:

·     The Language Corner

·     Intellectual Property Rights

·     Educational Institutions and International Schools

·     University Services

·     Art Exhibitions

The fair is organized by the International Association of Arabic Book Publishers in cooperation with the Turkish Publishers Association and the Turkish Publishers Union, with official support from the Turkish Ministry of Culture and the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.

The official opening will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with the attendance of prominent cultural and media figures from the Arab world and Turkey, in addition to representatives of participating publishers and institutions.
