In the Syrian capital, Damascus, hundreds of citizens took part in an angry demonstration following Friday prayers, which set off from the courtyard of the Umayyad Mosque, rejecting the approval of the law allowing the execution of Palestinian prisoners.

Participants chanted slogans condemning the Zionist occupation and its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, raised Palestinian flags, and affirmed their full solidarity with the Gaza Strip in the face of the ongoing aggression.

Protesters also expressed their outrage over violations against Palestinian detainees, while similar demonstrations were held in other cities, including Jisr al-Shughur in Idlib province, in support of Palestine and in rejection of the law.

Morocco: Public Call to Save Prisoners and Reopen Al-Aqsa

Hundreds of citizens took to the streets in several Moroccan cities in mass protests, denouncing the unjust law against Palestinian prisoners and the continued closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In the Somali capital, Mogadishu, hundreds gathered in a mass rally calling for the reopening of Al-Aqsa Mosque and expressing full support for the Palestinian people.

Protesters urged the international community to take urgent action to protect holy sites and guarantee freedom of worship, while also condemning the execution law.

Religious scholars and preachers warned of the consequences of continued violations by the Zionist occupation against Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing that any harm to Islamic holy sites could lead to a dangerous escalation.

During the Friday sermon at Omar ibn al-Khattab Mosque, Sheikh Abdul Hay Adam emphasized that expelling worshippers from Al-Aqsa is unacceptable for Muslim communities, calling for an immediate end to such violations.

Turkey: Voices Rise in Istanbul—Freedom for Prisoners

In Istanbul, Taksim Square witnessed a protest organized by Turkish groups, where demonstrators gathered after Friday prayers in front of Taksim Mosque.

Participants raised slogans such as “Stop the occupation” and “No to the siege of Al-Aqsa,” expressing their rejection of repressive policies.

Activist Mohammed Ali Arslan stated that the Palestinian people have been subjected to “genocide” for two years, while writer Zahra Turkman called on the world to uphold its moral responsibility and raise its voice to stop the crimes.

Norway: Striking Symbolic Scene in Oslo Calls for Accountability

In Oslo, activists staged a silent protest in front of the Opera House in a powerful symbolic display, hanging “nooses” to express their rejection of the execution law.

Protesters raised a large banner calling for immediate sanctions against the Zionist occupation, urging decisive international measures against its policies.

In a related development, the town of Beit Jala in the occupied West Bank witnessed a joint protest involving Palestinian and Israeli activists rejecting the law.

Participants warned of the dangers of this escalating approach, particularly amid complex regional conditions, stressing its serious potential consequences.
